To move us closer to a more accessible and just future, on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 the CDC Foundation, in collaboration with global design firm, IDEO, will launch the Empowered Health Cancer-Free Challenge to harness the power of open innovation to apply empathy and divergent thinking to empower each other to prevent, treat, and beat cancer.This program seeks your solutions to the question:

How might we empower one another to prevent, treat, and beat cancer?

As part of this challenge, we will be hosting an Inspiration Webinar for participants to learn about living with, surviving, and caring for people with cancer. We will be hosting a panel with cancer survivors, patients, and caregivers, as well as experts in advocacy, digital health, health equity, and behavior change. The goal of this event is for participants to consider diverse perspectives, gain empathy, and be inspired to submit and refine ideas.
