Join the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation on Thursday, February 18 at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT as we kick off our Webinar series for 2021 with Understanding Pediatric Brain Tumor Types and Treatments, a presentation by Mary Baron Nelson, PhD RN CPNP-PC, from Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and Keck School of Medicine of USC.
Dr. Nelson’s presentation will:
• Describe the structures of the brain
• Describe the common types, locations, and symptoms of pediatric brain tumors
• Discuss treatment strategies for pediatric brain tumors
Following the presentation, we will have a Q&A session with Dr. Nelson and two pediatric brain tumor parents. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions through a text chat. This webinar is free, but you must register below to attend. A recording will be made available after the event.
