THE FAMILY THAT WALKS TOGETHER: HOW YOUR INVOLVEMENT CAN CHANGE LIVES
UCI
6/10/21, 7:00 PM
America/Pacific Time UTC -8:00 / -7:00
Description
Every year, families come together for the UCI Anti-Cancer Challenge, all riding, running or walking to end cancer and, often, to celebrate someone whose life has been altered by the disease. Join us for a family Web event on how kids, teens, parents and grandparents are changing lives—and how you, too, can make a difference. Hear Anti-Cancer Challenge-funded researcher Michelle Fortier, PhD, talk about an app she has developed to help children and adolescents manage cancer pain.
Hosted by: Richard A. Van Etten, MD, PhD, Director, UCI Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center
Featuring: Michelle Fortier, PhD, Associate Professor, UCI Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing
