Description
Urban Indian Health Institute (UIHI) aims to decolonize data and ensure that Native American communities have access to data that is reflective of their cultures, traditions, and health needs. UIHI does research and evaluations, collects and analyzes data, and produces disease surveillance to strengthen the health of American Indian/Alaska Native communities.
The American Indian Cancer Foundation (AICAF) is a national non-profit organization that was established to address the tremendous cancer inequities faced by Native communities. The mission of AICAF is to eliminate the cancer burdens of Indigenous people through improved access to prevention, early detection, treatment, and survivor support.
