11/5/20, 4:00 PM
America/Chicago UTC -5
CT scanning is a critical part of evaluating patients in the ED. Integrating spectral reconstructions into CT protocols can significantly improve patient outcomes by providing rapid and accurate diagnosis, which can help increase the radiologists’ confidence.
By providing a window into physiologic alterations and tissue characterization beyond conventional CT, Spectral CT enables customized contrast protocols, which among many things; can help to reduce the likelihood of contrast induced nephropathy.
In this Expert Forum, Dr. Gopal Punjabi will share his experiences from Hennepin County Medical Center. He will also be available to participate in a moderated Q&A following the presentation.
