Description

A substantial proportion of patients with severe COVID-19 present with coagulation abnormalities which may lead to venous and arterial thromboembolic complications, which, if not properly prevented and/or timely detected can be associated with an increased risk of fatal outcome. This webinar is aimed at summarizing the characteristics of COVID-19 coagulation disorders, the laboratory and clinical findings in affected patients, and the role of the radiologist in the rapid recognition of pulmonary embolism which may properly direct patient management. Following the presentations from Dr. Thomas Song and Dr. Franck Grillet, we'll have time for a short moderated panel discussion where questions from the audience are encouraged.
