How Much do You Know about Prostate Cancer?
Prostate Cancer Foundation, West Angeles Church Brotherhood
9/18/21, 12:00 PM
America/Pacific Time UTC -8:00 / -7:00
During Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, the Prostate Cancer Foundation and the West Angeles Church Brotherhood jointly present: “How Much do You Know About Prostate Cancer?” This virtual meeting will center on raising awareness about prostate cancer among high-risk populations, discuss early detection, the latest research and treatment options, survival, risk factors, and lifestyle choices.
Uniquely designed to be a community-centered event with reach to over 30,000 congregants and local community members, we welcome you to attend a panel tentatively titled: “A Conversation about Prostate Cancer.” Mindful that prostate cancer disproportionately affects Black men and families, we will use this opportunity to amplify the latest news on prostate cancer disparities from physician-scientists, researchers, and advocates in the prostate cancer community. The meeting is organized as a series of short presentations, a survivor’s panel, followed by an extended Q&A session.
All attendees will receive a free electronic copy of the PCF Prostate Cancer Patient Guide.
