Description
Critical care practice & related pharmacotherapy encompasses a wide variety of disease states. New developments challenge the practitioner to stay abreast of emerging therapies & novel treatment strategies. This conference will focus on clinical controversies or novel therapies across the gamut of critical care medicine. We are excited to again partner with Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago to continue to include a pediatric track this year. Joe Mull, M.Ed, CSP will deliver our keynote session entitled, “No More Team Drama: Ending the Gossip, Cliques, and Other Crap that Damage Workplace Teams.” Our clinical topics will highlight “COVID – What in the world just happened”, “COVID-19 in Children – Lessons from the ED and PICU”, “Clinical Pearls of Targeted Temperature Management after Cardiac Arrest,” “Practice Adaptation,” “Antithrombotic Therapy in the Era of TAVR, Watchman, HM 3,” “Trauma – TEG, Anti-Fibrinolytics, Key Considerations,” “Controversies in Management of Pulmonary Hypertension in Patients with CDH,” among others hot topics.
